I finally got to adding more details in grisaille, particularly on the piece of driftwood.  I also worked on the background a bit, because the folds in the fabric were looking a bit unclear.
I finally got to adding more details in grisaille, particularly on the piece of driftwood. I also worked on the background a bit, because the folds in the fabric were looking a bit unclear.

I almost my first layer of glazing. For the most part, the colors are close to their correct hue, but on the second layer I will adjust them. I can tell now that the background should be less saturated.

It’s easier to get the colors exact when they’re next to each other and you can compare them.
